In the 80 Tech Forum there is a "What did you do with your 80 this weekend" thread. In that thread 80 owners post what they've been doing with their rigs. This include mods, engine swaps, wheeling trips, just posting a photo of it in the driveway and saying, "I looked at it" or "did an oil change" and things related to anything 80 series.

I think it would be cool to see what local club members are currently doing with their rigs/adventures/toyota related things and thats why I'm starting this.

So recently I drove from Bozeman to Loveland CO to see my girlfriend for thanksgiving. While I was there I met some of the guys from the TLCA club there and had a few beers and talked toyots. Also got to hit some dirt. We took the dogs and went off roading on a trail near Estes Park CO. It was a great time and the weather was awesome. Nothing hard just great views and a good time.

We also got out and hit some dirt with the TLCA club on another day and took Pollys 1st Gen 4Runner instead of the 80 (Guys get yourself a girl who loves yotas and is also a part of the TLCA. Makes life super easy) We took a trail that goes to an old T33 plane crash. The 4Runner is an 86 and is open open and it makes it interesting thats for sure!

And yesterday I drove back to bozeman!

SO What have you been doing with your toyota???

Dropping mine off Wednesday morning to have the 3rd member removed... again.

Nothing exciting since my Moab trip in October! Unfortunately I have almost zero photos from the trip though. Had a great time to Hell's Revenge, Seven Mile Rim, and a couple smaller trails.

Not alot exciting this winter, just got a twin stick to put in Sam's 55 and if Advanced Adapters ever gets the order filled I'm gonna put an Orion in the 40. Planning on bringing the 416 in next week and starting on that. Spring is almost here

It sucks most the snow melted last week, I had 2 feet everywhere at my house before the warm spell and now there is nothing. Once it snows again hit me up if your gonna go out, snow wheeling is one of my favorite types of wheeling
Count me in for snow wheeling

Just been playin with mine in the snow. Also prepping to install a set of king 10 inch stroke rear shocks on custom outboard mounts. Had the mounts cut out on the plasma table at work and am just waiting on Down South Motorsports to ship the shocks

Plasma table at work? I need a new job!

I've always been a fan of the NWTI bumper. I've been playing with my welder since the first 406 "Welding Clinic" and so I thought I'd give their bumper kit a shot. I'm really happy with the work I did tacking it together but since it is a safety related item, my neighbor (a prof welder) is doing the final finishing welds. Now I've got to decide on what to put on it for a finish.

Oh yea, and then go play in the snow! :steer:

Those are a nice bumper, a friend is putting one together after a deer strike. How about more pics of your shop, looks very nice. Ron
