Installed a mild lift on the GX. Got about an inch and a half. Perfect for what I will use it for. Came out really nice! Next up are a set of Metaltech sliders.

Which Dobinson springs did you use? I’m looking at the 2” for the front on the 4R…

The fronts are c59-300. The rears are C59-505. I bought them from Exit offroad and their website shows what lift to expect with your application.

#1 timing belt this week. Will start #2 on Thursday.

I need to do this on my '99 LC. And it's been over 10 years since the last time I did it. Maybe I should schedule a day to come over and we can do it together since it will be fresh in your mind. I have the parts (Belt, water pump, idler pulley, tensioner, tensioner pulley) but I'm thinking I should get a few jugs of Mr. T coolant too.

Sure, we can do it at either my place or yours. I also think it is a good idea to replace the fan hub bracket at the same time. And don't forget the o rings for the water pump bypass tube and the thermostat housing.

Was banging (figuratively and literally) my head underneath the 80 while doing the exhaust system and these two Yahoo's showed up to use the press 😁. Heard few BANGS and yelling from the garage for the next couple of hours 🤣.

Thanks again to @Mauser with the exhaust help. Another set of hands, eyes and an unfrustrated brain made it much easier to make good progress on my 2.5" exhaust build. 🙏

glad you got a picture because I completely forgot to take any and thanks for letting me use your press! That exhaust is looking sweet can’t wait to hear it!

You're welcome dude, anytime.

I hope NOT to hear my exhaust; anything other than a sweet sounding V8 don't need to be heard  With that said, I DO hope I can hear the turbo whine now and then. 🤞

Tanner,

Remember to tighten all suspension bushings after you place the vehicle on all four wheels and bounce the suspension side to side, front to back, etc.

The SPC upper arms appreciate some grease inside the bushings and around the long bolt before you fit everything up. Additionally, SPC recommends that we remove the long bolt.l and periodically apply fresh grease inside the bushing sleeves. The grease fittings alone don't get the grease around the metal sleeve that's inside the bushings.

Keep up the good work amigo 👍
