What did you do with your Tundra or Sequoia this weekend? (4 Viewers)

Cleaned the bed and decked drawers. Spilled a sack of corn all over when I went hunting for pigs back in the spring. It was fermenting and was gonna attract mice…

I took my Sequoia in to the local body shop today. My rear hatch hasn’t opened in almost a year. I finally booked it in, and for $200 I got a hatch that works, and with a new OEM cable and latch mechanism. I opened and closed it a few times just because I could. It’s the simple things!

I’ve dreamed about that conversation with my wife and the 200 LandCruiser - definitely a dream! I get the look when it hits any dirt.

secret is dont ask
first comes the sliders and skids, she wont notice....
then the lift and tires when the old tires are worn out so you have an excuse for being in the shop.....
then snorkel roof rack and bumpers in one shot..... and then you can beg for forgiveness

Well, I was just about to order a set of Toyo RT Trails at $466 a tire until I remembered a few Tundra owners talking about simple tires. Well I placed an order for a set of 5 Kanati Trail Hogs in 37x12.50r18 at $231 a tire!!! Couldn't pass up such a killer deal and after hearing about good experiences from a few members of tundras.com. And of course, I have to give you all a few of their pictures running Kanati tires.

I'm keeping the mud terrains for trails and run these all terrains in the winter months.

Not to burst your bubble but you’ll get what you pay for.

Will they super suck and you hate them? Probably not.
Are they a Toyo level tire? Definitely not.

But I do like a tundra on 37s

Agreed. Toyos are top dogs haha.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about them so I’ll give them a try. When the kenda tires came out and were cheap everyone talked them down. Guys tried them cause they were cheap and now they’re one of the better off road tires out there for the price. I’d imagine if these kanatis do well they’ll see a huge popularity jump just like the kendas. Time will tell.

Last year I seen a clean 80s series with these kanatis and they looked good in person.

Tire prices are dumb. I see it every single day.

So I definitely don’t blame anyone for trying. Hopefully they work out and I’m watching to see the review

I will keep everyone posted on my experience. And agreed, paying $400+ per tire is ridiculous. I remember paying just over $200 a tire for 35" yokohama g003s and now they're $400! WTF I just want some damn tires haha

Yokos have seen the biggest price jump I’ve noticed. They used to be cheap, when they first came out there were a phenomenal tire for the money. Now they are top tier tire prices and not top tier level
