Probably of small interest to this group of big dogs ...

Installed a u-bolt flip kit on the BJ70 over the weekend. The picture is not very impressive but I will see at GSMTR how it performs compared to the stock rock catchers.

Looks good. Did you use 70 ones or can you use 40/60 flip kits?

I like the flip kits on my 60....worth it and well made.

Thanks. I think it will be just perfect for that.

Due to the arrangement of the rear shocks (one in front of the axle and one behind), I used the kit for a FJ62. The 40 series kit is different.

Pulled my fender flares today, going to be an epic project getting the holes filled, taped em up for now. Before/after pics...

Now I canfollow Wiley down a narrow ass creek bed without tearing off plastic, lol

Looks bad ass, hunter! Did you go to 36" tires like you had said? Those don't look like 33's.

That is a good catch there Joel, those are definitely NOT the km2's. What's the story @htburnett The swampers look mean on the BJ. That bumper looks good too.

Thanks guys. Yep I put the 36's on this weekend and picked up some long fields to put in. Trying to get it ready for Mardi Krawl.

Truck looks killer! Not enough empty beer cans around though :) Can't wait to see it in action... Let's see a pic of the fenders.

Thanks. There probably isn't enough fender let to get a good picture ha ha.

any need to re gear the 40 due to the tire size?

Yes definitely going to have to do a re gear soon.

how bad of a job was that?

It really wasn't bad just time consuming. It really helps to have someone to help hold it up while you measure for brackets and the pipe inlets. It took several saws all blades and some cussing. Here is the only picture I grabbed.
