What did you do with your truck today?

I might get a stinger bent and welded out of aluminum for the front, not sure yet. The hoops were obstructing headlight performance, and I need all I can get out of those stock headlights. Really should go to LED...

If you listen to local radio alot I would advise against going LED. I have some pretty decent interference when I have my headlights on in the 4runner. I have some fancy boxes in line that I was sent that helped but did not solve the issue. I need to check on some possible grounding issues since the control boxes are not supposed to be grounded. So no touching the metal support structure, which I think is part of my issue. For upgrading the 80 headlights I would look at a SLEE harness (or similar) and check into the HIR bulbs. I got the harness on mine and it increased the light output of the stock bulbs considerably. Just my $0.02.

I started Bruce and let him idle for 20 minutes or so to put charge the battery a bit. Really need to clean him out, get the rear bumper on and look for a set of front trim packers to get rid of some of the stink bug.

Also, anyone else notice the STLCA clubhouse has been pretty dead lately?

Bruce is the 80, named for the "Great White" Shark in Finding Nemo, I will give you one guess who helped with that one I have never been one for calling a rig by a name. Don't get me wrong, i do tend to name them, just not sure actually calling them by name is for me. The mini is "Scrappy" but I only call it that every once in a while, but the name came from my college days. Betsy is about the only vehicle who gets called by name with any regularity, but then again she came with her own name-tag so there's that.

Well I had some battery issues after I put the new starter on but all is good now. Thanks for the lead on it.
