Nice but do you take thing off road much? I can't help but think all those slots & holes will fill up with trail funk.

I'll have to deal with it. Use it as a daily driver so it see's a lot of pavement. Also pull a small camping trailer so would rather have the better brakes in the long term, and just pressure wash off the trail mud

Let's see here....

Last Monday I swapped out my front diff after a shakedown run at Superlift cause the ARB line inside was broken;
Thursday I grenaded the rear diff on the first obstacle at Katemcy;
Friday I got parts and me, TellicoRob, Marlin Crawler, Bossman and a few others built and installed a diff right there on my trailer;
Saturday I shaved off about 6 months worth of tire tread trying to climb some crazy stuff;
This past Monday I smashed my passenger door on Squid's Jaunt and inverted a Revolver shackle on Greg's Rocks at Superlift.

All that and I STILL have to rebuild the two chunks that came out. :/

Holy chit batman!

Yeah, it was an expensive week. Haha.

Forgot to include at the very top of that list that the semi blew an air line on Sunday about 30 miles after departing for TX - before all the Crawler carnage began.

The things we do for our sport...

Dang, PitA looks like a true statement.

Is all that gonna have any defense from sticks and mud?

Andy,

Check this link out

https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/84730-4runner-brake-install-pics.html

the mods in regard to the brakes on my truck. T100 master cylinder, 94 4 RUnner rebuilt napa calipers, reaplaced all hoses, turned front disks... I had swapped over to the 4 runner calipers some time ago but the original ones must have been DOA to start with....because huge improvement this week when the new calipers went on plus hoses. Good pedal feel and strong brake application.

Its a bolt on mod to swap 94 4runner calipers over on to the 60 front axle, you just have to trim teh dust shield a little bit. I don't know if the calipers interfer with any wheels more so than the stock caliper as I had wheel spacers already installed.

So get off your A$$es and swap out those old brakes hoses to start with.

New project in the hopper is to setup a remote p/s revivor and swap out my present p/s pump to one like of a 3500 van that is setup for remote resivor. What is bad...I've had the parts to do it for about 3 months now...

Wed... Clean up batt terminals and a some ground wires.

Thurs... Install new/used front side marker light assemblies after mine disintegrated when changing bulbs.

Today... Heading out to play with carb again.
