What did you do with your truck this week?

Gabe, I have a 3FE coming out of an 80 and also an entire 60 for sale as well.

My budget is non existent at the moment. Will be late this year more than likely.

Gabe,
Sorry to hear about the engine. Nothing more aggravating than issues after you put time and $ into it. Had a Mustang in college that did that, sunk loads of $ into it and got it going, ended up with a bottom end knock. I think that vehicle was possessed.

$3k.... come and get it :D

Does this include a FJ45?

Gabe, I think I have my old motor with a freshly decked good head. I replaced the gasket and then the bottom end took a dump right after. I still have it you are welcome to it. Ill check when I get back.

I got an SR5 driver's seat out of a 92 4runner at the Grand Strand Pick and Pull in Conway and put it in my 85 4runner. It isn't the same color as the interior and has 2 small tears but it is a lot better than what was in it. It was pretty much bolt in except for a little reaming out of one of the bracket holes! Now I've gotta do the passenger seat, just have to figure out how to swap it and retain the slide feature for access to the rear seat!

Went wheeling in GA, Warwoman area, went to SC along the chatooga river.

Installed my TRD exhaust!

I installed my TRD exhaust on the Tacoma this weekend! A big thanks goes out to dbenke who picked it up for me! I really appreciate it! I had a hard time getting it in place but finally figured it out. Well it threw a po136 code on my Ultragauge and the CEL came on, so I thought that I may have damaged my O2 sensor. Thankfully the exhaust shop that checked for an exhaust leak said that I had the sensor in upside down and fixed it for me for $10. Now the light is off and it sounds really good!

Changed the oil in the 40 transmission and transfer case... They sound much better. Might be time to install an odometer so I know when to do it...

Finally built the drawers for the box in the 80.
I need to clean up the edges, add some pull cords or holes and mount the fire extinguisher and small first aid kit.

After, installed a 4" lift, took a few weeks but it's on. Installed the front first, which was hair, all the weight and it wanted to tip. Needless to say I'll be looking into some 6 ton jack stands. Took the rear apart last night and put it back together this morning. Rear drive shaft is good and I think the front is too, it slipped out while I was bolting the axle back to the springs, haven't had a chance to get it back together yet. I am looking for a set of shocks, mine are toast. So if you have a set or now what size I need let me know.

Looks good.
Is that the "Jackson " roll cage kit you have and you just put the orig brackets on where the rear hoops weld to main?

Thanks man, not sure what brand it is, it was Marshall's old cage but it does use the original back hoops.

Second part of the day entailed putting in the new slave cylinder, got it from cruiser corps, had to use the old push rod though. I think this was due to the fact I have an f engine which I mounted up a 4 speed trans. Had to modify the line also but it all worked out in the end.

Pulled the spare and jack off of the swingout on the 4runner yesterday. The bearings are shot, not sure if I can get it off to replace them or not, still works, just getting noisy and its all rusted up in there. Its amazing how much you can see out of the back without the spare taking up the back window.
