Drove the FJC from SC to New Orleans. Found out New Orleans (any city really) isn't our style so we are headed to the panhandle of FL for 3-4 days.

They have a diff type of Juicebox down there that's for sure.

Which? The damaged box from UPS/CCOT or the tire mounting?
Let me know.....

As for the this thread, started installation of extended SS brake lines.

i have been called a post whore before so i say both.:grinpimp: Tires please!!

The Gimpy One (AKA Post Whore):
I will post some pics of both soon, I'm picking up the tires and rims this aft so I don't have a picture of them yet.

As I was installing the SS flexible brake lines I realized most of the steel lines are in bad shape, so I spent the morning removing these and making a list of what I need. Also removed some old, rotten gas lines that aren't being used anymore but we still strapped to the frame.

Installed a front Inchworm Elocker guard and the EMS exhaust on the 80 today.
renewing the dream for a garage or level concrete at least one day :)

This week I have painted the front headlight bezels and grill so that now they match. The P.O. had painted one a weird silver color and the other was grey.

Also today I went to a car wash and sprayed off about #20 of red clay and then ran out of quarters after about 20 min of spraying. Now to just get the other #50 of clay off the bottom and out of the engine bay.

Removed the roof rack and chrome strips from Bertha's roof. Welded up all the holes and filled the gaps. This was my first attempt at welding body panels and I suck at it. Wire speed set to 0, voltage around 25-30%. Dugan at ACC had to clean up some of my mess. The roof rack brackets left 6 dime-sized holes. The chrome strips were just screw holes. Then there was one big hole at the back.

Got the tires back from the tire shop and mounted to the truck, I have three more brake lines to bend up and install before I can bleed the system and get the truck out for some outdoor shots.
Yes, lots of work left......next is electrical and this spring summer we'll hit the body!
Also included is a shot of the damaged box for the post whore;)

LOL!
Yep, there seems to be a lot of them. This spring and summer I have a lot of body work to due, as I'm sure everyone can see since my truck is so ugly. The PO built a home-made tub so I have to rework that to fit the hardtop on and get all the doors to fit up. After that I'll fix some cancer and then repaint. I'm not planning anything too fancy as this is more a work/play truck than anything but I'm not sure what colour I'll go yet? Any votes?
Maybe I'll just Line-X the whole thing;)

Got my rear hatch lifts installed! 1st time since I got the 80 that I haven't had to use a golf umbrella to hold it up. No more hitting my bald head and bleeding all over the place!!!!
