Thanks! I'm assuming your parts were the LE-0101 units. (My grasp of the Asian languages is sorely lacking :/ )

Three hundred for new isn't unreasonable, as Hefty fab bolt on wings were close to 700 IIRC. These look a lot lighter, but offer more protection than plastic at least.

Edit: a Google search found an importer for these to the US. The cost was $425, but the shipping was $845 additional for the boat ride!!! Air shipping was over 2 grand lol.

Yes, those are the ones. I rather quite like them for both looks and function...and the price was not bad either.

Hell, I could buy them for ya and ship them for a LOT less than that I'm sure. Someone's making some coin off the shipping....
F:censor:ers. Yen is way down now, too so the conversion is about par with the dollar.

I tinkered with my 80 a bit on Saturday. First was to pull a few errant wired left by the PO. I kept them for posterity. Then I checked the screws in my roofrack. I had hit them with liquid wrench a week ago. Tthe all felt loose so I started unscrewing them. Two of the eight twisted with the nutsert, so I drilled the screw heads off them. On one, the nutsert came out of the roof. On the other, the screw head came off and I pull the rack off the roof. It left the stud sicking up. I put my drill on it and it unscrewed from the nutsert which had wedged itself back in the hole. I plugged the holes with FIPG for now. Monstaliner is coming to the roof soo enough, and I have a friend with a roofrack that hopefully will end up on top.

Great pictures with the pooch! I can never get my pictures to turn out when I photograph my chocolate lab- she's a black hole for ambient light lol.

Started a stock bumper wing tire carrier someone suggested I do.
Trying to make it structurally sound with the limited space available has been a challenge.
Here's a pic of the progress so far.
Everything will be boxed in after the spindle and sleeve are installed.

Started the weekend out right. Got delivery of my new to me Engel MT35F. It seems like the perfect size. Time will tell. And of course I just finished my very first mod to it :flipoff2:

Ordered another head gasket - 27 / 90 / 90. Note to self: Don't worry about getting all the head bolts to the exact torque setting as the others.

Can you see the problem(s)?

Looks awesome! What bulbs did you use?

I just pulled the fan clutch, original asin, to replace with a Napa Hayden clutch. Drained the radiator to replace hoses and new toy red fluids. New belts, front rotors and 100 series pads tomorrow.
