Back Bay Customs tailgate storage. What a nice well made product My carpet reinstall was not the greatest so might get that redone at some point.

Guess I should make this a joint profile between me and my dad.. sent a picture of him and my mom enjoying my 80 during the "snow storm" that hit Ga.

Swapped the winter tires onto my daughter's 80 (Yoko Geolandar i/T 285/75-16). Also put my old prototype rack on it. At least she can represent for the most part.

We have matching tape on the rear passenger door fender flare!

Interesting that a stock 80 would not consider any of that stuff in the video technical.

I gotta say that sometimes I think the 80 makes it too easy, even in stock form.

Yep, didn't get a chance to get much farther on that project. It'll probably just get torn off on another tree any way by my "alternate driveway though the woods " kid!

Not my video but it shows how technical it can be plus it is a Toyota and I think I saw an 80

Technical/non-technical discussions aside, I thought it was a cool video. At one point we shot Super-8 home movies, then we had VCR and BETA tapes, now we have digital cameras and YouTube. It's all the same, just a different medium and a larger audience. At this point in my life, it's not just about all the latest and greatest stuff I have, its about the experiences I keep in my head. I'd wager that is why a lot of us relish driving 25yr old rigs ;).

As I watched that video, I saw a family making memories that can be passed on to future generations. Kudos to them for taking the time to document a family trip.

In 50 years it could be on a page like this. Not Toyota, but pretty cool if you like old iron.

Jeep and Teardrop on CJ3B.info

Yeah, hopefully he lets his wife and kid out before he flops his RAV4.

Cute car though!

I give up. What?

He's saying the joke wrong. It should be ... Why is American beer like having sex in a canoe?

They are both f-ing close to water.

Removed upper intake chasing P0401 code. RR injectors from RC injection in Torrance CA. Cleaned carbon out of everything. Replaced VSV, all vacuum lines, fuel filter, plug wires (orig from 1997), cap, rotor, spark plugs. Thank you Beno for parts! Fired right up! Now flushing & replacing coolant.. Thanks for Mud for helping me through this!

Thanks for clarifying...I had Zero clue what that was all about. Would have been a good joke with Coors Light or something, but The 90 minute is a damn good beer. Fail...

Applied Fluid Film to the LX. I got tired of parking it anytime there was salt on the road and wanted to use it in the snow.

PS - I neither endorse or recommend this method of lifting the truck but it works. I did one side, then reversed it, and did the other. At least I wasn't wearing sandals :).
