Smog pump seized, power steering pump leaking. Parts ordered. At least it's drivable by putting on a belt from an FJ40. So far, everything is working great, aside from the things that are broken.

Massive oil leak on the underside just behind the engine. I think it's motor oil and not transmission fluid... not sure if that's a good thing.

Two day's worth of oil leaks. I'm going to need a bigger piece of cardboard.

Looks like a rear main leak... Take a look at the fly wheel inspection plate, pull that off and then look at your fly wheel and see if you see oil everywhere.. If so then yea more than likely your rear main, if not then maybe HG leak or oil pan leak.

Rebuilt my steering pump (most of it). Gotta say, it was messy and fun. Glad I tackled it!

After fitting the turbo we took her for a 200klm round trip to collect a new family member. Despite having a head wind and all the way there was uphill I only used 1/4 of a tank of diesel happily sat on 100km most of the time. Also glad I fixed the heater.

Installed a new oil pressure gauge, courtesy of Onur. Now all my stock gauges work on my vortec swap except for the tach, which I went aftermarket.

Also, Got the cruise control working, and cleaned up some wiring.
