this is in Texas, the Padre Island National Seashore. I thought it was a water mine to be honest, but not sure what it actually is.

I'm going to be heading up through mammoth lakes and going through Utah and Colorado June 2nd through the 7th so if anyone wants to wheel let me know!

Hey we are in salt lake hit me up if you come by

We might swing up there depending on funds. I know a great pizza place up there by the university that would be great to meet at!

Well I finally brought my cruiser our of retirement this weekend. I'd been driving my dads pickup during college. It had sat for a few years without really being driven, so I changed the oil, reinstalled my stereo (I had moved it to the truck), tuned the carb, checked the timing, checked the valves, rotate and balance the tires, general maintenance stuff. Also I finally got around to replacing the original 30 years old shock absorbers. I used the Monroe monromatic. They're cheap as hell but they are leaps and bounds better than what was on there! Those top bolts on the front shocks were rusted solid, ended up having to drill through the bolt and snap it off.

So happy to have my baby back! It feels good

Fixed a hole up in right rear fender well where a fence post or something punched a hole thru in my 'cruiser's past life. Tapped, yanked, bent, and beat the torn flap of metal back into place with various tools, then welded it back. Then I cleaned 6 inches of mud out of the rear panel. Luckily it wasn't very corroded under there. I pulled the rubber plugs, rinsed it out, treated any rust, and used the POR degreaser, prep and paint. While I was at it i cleaned up the cargo panel and replaced a few missing panel clips.
