Also did some minor sound proofing on my new h55 using an inner-tube

of for the lift gate revamp project complete. New LED rd 
is all wired up (because DC/MD/VA drivers). The rear wiper, rear washer, power lock and defroster are all functioning properly. Tucked everything away neatly and put the headliner and all the trim back together.

I picked up a spare set of 3FE exhaust manifolds at @joekatana's. Nice to meet you Joe. Thanks for letting me check out your 70 series and thanks again for the parts.
On the way home, north of Dallas, I saw a sign for ethanol free gas. As I pulled into the station, I saw another cruiser brother with the same idea. He had a clean FJ60 that has been in the family since new. Before our tanks were full of the corn free sauce, another cruiser owner came over to tell us about his two FJ40s. It was a good morning...

Took the 60 up into the mountains on the island with my dad, found some snow at 3000ft

My new carpet kit came in for the replacement cruiser.
I got around to wiring up my speedhut gauges. Just need to finish up the fuel level calibration. No choke on the Ls so that spot became my high beam indicator.

thanks to @emorth for the splicing tips several pages back. I pulled the pins and was able to heat shrink it with marine grade stuff.

These are transfer type decals and then covered with clear coat.
@RodrigzCrzr let us know how you like the carpet kit. Is it good quality and identical to OEM? Does the kit include the rear trunk and tailgate pieces? I am thinking about replacing mine and looking for the best OEM reproduction.
