Went up Kennebec pass west of Durango with
and dear friends to spread my mother in law’s ashes. RIP!

You might be able to get in there with nimble hands. If I remember correctly, the belts are more of a problem. It's a 17mm I think. I had one that was fused to the thermostat housing so I just left it as is. Not broken just cleaning things up and replacing thermostat, gaskets, and whatnot.I have this in front of me this weekend. Did you have to remove the upper radiator hose and thermo housing?
You don’t have too! You can keep the top housing on. Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the housing and twist so it points up. Belt is in the way but you can still get to it with a long open end wrench. If your replacing the bottom one remove the top one. Just be careful not to break the nipples.I have this in front of me this weekend. Did you have to remove the upper radiator hose and thermo housing?
Looking good !I was lucky enough to get my fuel tank changed at my local dealer as part of the 1990 recall...I paid for the fuel pick up so everything touching the fuel would be changed as I had fresh gas put in after the new tank was installed. Stumbling a bit after I got it back so decided to change the fuel filter and open up the jets a bit. I knew this needed to be done ever since the desmog and having the weber installed. Found some dirty fuel in my carb. Running great now. Truck is awaiting the H55 combo I ordered from George at Valley Cruisers....can't wait to get my 5th gear and having a quiet tranny.
Also had clear tint installed last week....even had them put it on the windshield. Supposed to cut down on 95% of the heat. I have not had enough sunny days to review it yet, but will in the next couple of weeks.

Clear tint?! That sounds awesome! Very interested to hear your opinion on how it works!I was lucky enough to get my fuel tank changed at my local dealer as part of the 1990 recall...I paid for the fuel pick up so everything touching the fuel would be changed as I had fresh gas put in after the new tank was installed.
