Inching my way along with the interior refresh. I don't have many photos but below is a list of the products used if you are interested. When complete I will add new photos.

Fab'd together seat mounts for BMW front seats. Unfortunately there isn't an aftermarket kit for 85 and earlier models. Lots of issues to sort out!

Blue tooth head unit. This is the third unit I have installed and they work just fine for my purposes. For less than $25 it's does everything I need it to. Amazon.com: SoundStorm ML41B Bluetooth Enabled, Single Din, MP3 Compatible, Digital Media, FM Receiver: Car Electronics

Laid down sound deadener on the floor, doors and behind the rear panels. The effect is very noticeable when you close the doors and should help with the squeaks and road noise. Noico Base / Products / Noico sound deadening materials

That's it for this week. Still have a ways to go but getting excited for summer time cruising.

I'm about to replace my front and rear carpet. How many sq feet did you buy of the sound deadner? 1986 Fj60

Took my son on a turkey hunt and finished off splashing in a few mud puddles. Then had a few High Life.

Sanded, primed and painted my roof.

Cost me about $180 in supplies.

That top came out very nice! Is it 2 stage with clear coat? Did you use a spray gun?

Yes, I did a 2 stage with a clear coat on top. No spray gun. I purchased the original paint color and automotive clear coat in aerosol cans. It cost about $180 for 4 cans of primer, 4 or 5 cans of color and 4 or 5 of the clear coat.

I had an estimate by a decent body shop for the hood and roof (only) for $2200. The paint was completely gone, so I figured I didn't have much to lose. I'm happy with the result.

Finally got another small project done. Had ordered a Kaymar dual swing out rear bumper back in 2012. I had mounted the bumper only until I got other projects done. Got the tire carrier and jerry can holders out of storage and cleaned up. Now its coming together slowly. Kaymar makes the nicest rear bumpers. Wish I could afford one!

More fun than grinding up those switchbacks on a bike, eh? How far up did you make it? Do they close it in the winter>

Just did it once on bicycle but it was downhill
In the winter road is closed at "Le chalet Reynard" on South face and at "Le Mont Serein" on North face

I bought 50 sq ft and it was enough for all 4 doors and double up on the thickeness around the transmission tunnel.
