We're in the middle of house building. For the past 11 years we've been in a 1900-era house with a tiny one-car shop/garage that my GX barely fits in. Before that, it was apartments and wrenching on the street. So I've definitely been there

. Shop is done, contractor will be starting on the house framing next week.
FYI, we are using a lot of douglas fir for exterior wood on our house. It's about half the price of cedar and actually stronger. This workbench was the first time I used it. It smelled awesome when sawing/drilling in to it - almost like a natural cleaning product - which i guess is why it's insect resistant. Apprenatly it does require quite a bit of re-finishing when used outside, however.
