5ish years with the eternity key. Zero issues

Think I'm the first one to ever do this, but feel free to copy me 🙄 running boards off, fairly satisfied w cut job on the trim.

Also found these upgrades from the OEM running board trim fastners. From a trim kit on Amazon. Pic of part list attached.

Putting NFab bars on later this week 👌

what did you do with the wiring for the running board lights? i want to take mine off, but im not sure if i should try to save the wiring for something or not. love the color combo you have!

I used my factory wiring to upgrade the lights with some cheap 20 lights off Amazon. Got some harness from Autozone so I could replace them in the future if need be..

I tucked it into a frame rail for now but doing the aftermarket rock light thing too. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I was thinking of just starting with 2 lights "midships" and seeing how I like the brightness. Those look real powerful! Although I went with amber not a pure white.
they are nice and bright but not SUPER bright... i like that they fade out just like the stock lights did

Lots of very good things arrived today. Pending issues that could arise if my LCA alignment cams are seized, I should have a 100% new suspension some time next weekend! The FCP shocks are super-beefy....the front coilovers must weigh 40-50 lbs each!

I opted for replacement Moog LCA's in the front and all control arms in the back as they were only slightly more expensive than getting new bushings and ball joints (via Rock Auto), and I'd have to get a press and potentially spend hours/days(?) extracting the old bushings, vs. just bolting new ones in. I'll keep all the old front and rear control arms and get a press to push in new poly bushings in the future if the Moog stuff craps out.

I’m running moog lca for the same reason, and they have been good for the 5-6 weeks I’ve had them. Some sand dunes and muddy trails and they’ve been solid.

Good to hear. I've used Moog stuff on my other cars and found it not to be quite OEM quality, but that was sway bar end links wearing out at ~6 years compared to the OEM stuff that lasted ~11 years. I'll be happy if these last 4-5 years before the bushings get soft. I've opened the LCA boxes and they seem to be a really good match for the OEM, but are of course Made in China....

i have the same strategy. my GX was absolutely beat down when i got it, and i have a tight budget, so i went cheap with some parts just to get it on the road.
