Headgasket job. Cleaned up oil cooler. New timing chain and all the goodness that goes with it. Freshly cleaned injectors. New intake hose. Adjusted my steering box screw. HP increasing TEQ oil cap. Good times. Finally putting it back into the vehicle rotation after sitting a coupe months.

22's to 17's. Before and after.
Might add some spacers and bigger tires. Looking for some 285 17s.

I now have all the parts I need to further upgrade the headlights in my FJ40. I've already gone with the E- Spec H4 headlights with the 50/60w bulbs. Now going to build a harness with the proper relays and go with the 90/100w bulbs. Yes I will adjust these so i wont blind anyone (haha) but will bet $ that our 2008 Solara with the projector beam bulbs will still be as bright or more. Those stock headlights amaze me everytime I drive it or anything newer than a 2010 model.

Ill try to post up before and after results of brightness.

Great idea! Let there be lots of light

Got my CB wired up and installed, installed my CDL switch, installed my door speakers, and I'll be fixing my power seats and replacing the stock sub this week. Got my TJM springs in so I'm just waiting on my Icon shocks from Metal Tech now and I'll get those put on. Next up on the list is a Aussie Locker and new head unit since the one I have is a little outdated and I have no way of playing music off my phone.

I'd also like to install the VIAIR compressor and tank I have so I think I'll be picking up one of those mounts from LCPhil here pretty soon.

Its a DVD receiver head unit so no cassette player and I don't want to take up my one and only outlet with that. I can get a pioneer unit that will play my apps for less than $200.

I went with the 34R1500. It was 25% off and free shipping so it seemed like a good deal. The posts are in the correct spot and fittment was easy.

Impressive - it only weighs 49.5 lbs - got me thinking now - hmmmm

Sears marine Diehard group 31 weighs #75, my battery is 25.5 lbs lighter and has 68 Ah versus 100 Ah. If you are running a fridge the group 31 might be better but for now this is just my speed.

The discount code was SEMA2014 to get the 25% off and free shipping. $217 to my door including the attachment to raise the height.

Quick protip, we (work) usually order all of our electrical components from http://www.waytekwire.com/products/ - I love their site, check em out.

replacing the stock sub this week.

When you pull the old sub I'm interested in how Toyota/Lexus wired sub in the nineties. Going backwards in a 4X4 taking aftermarket out and installing factory back in. Since a amp and sub woofer were already wired in the back thinking of downsizing to factory type sub that would fit in a side storage compartment. A space that was completely filled by the PO's sub amp. Power/switched/ground are easy. Curious is the input low level or high level?
