Finally got time to replace that stinky fuel tank transfer valve. Filled both 18 gallon tanks with the Safeway rewards.

I had the privilege of working with JJGarcia today putting my 4x4Labs rear bumper on, ALL DAY! I did the grinding so if you see amateur work it's mine.

Thanks JJ, I had a great experience putting this bumper on and thank you for teaching me a bunch of today.

Next up--gonna test the clearance Clarence!

Thanks Rudster, I've attached some pic's:

1. Around Payson
2. Removing all the carpet and laying down some sticky insulation this past Friday.

I'll upload the progression pic's as I install the Underdawg front bumper and paint the 4x4 labs bumper as well as clean the window rails. I'm going to be installing a "system" so as to "humor" the wife and entertain the family.

Gracias hombre, I have no idea when the front bumper is coming--I'm hoping by Turkey Day. I don't know what Underdawg is doing, there's a few upset individuals but for me I'm fine, I got in on the prototype stage and he's starting a small business around 80 Series parts so I'm going to be patient. There aren't many guys wanting to start a business around 80 Series, gotta love it.

Nah, I don't think I'm getting a snorkel, maybe someone could invent a removable panel with a snorkel on it, hahhaa, that way you could just pop it on and off.

The rear bumper kit was a 4x4 Labs bumper and the only additional modification we made was to weld up a lip by the taligate, similar to ToolsRUs.

If you're asking what kind of grinding job I did to the rear bumper it wasn't very good, it wasn't a terrible job but it was my own handiwork and I'm sticking with it! hahaha. JJ created a monster in me. hahahaa.

I meant to ask what did you do to your old rear bumper or bumper guard?
 
on the 80:

Had my LR window fixed "correctly" :hillbilly: on the track...

Also took the top of my PS fluid reservoir off and cleaned the screen, then flushed the system with hydraulic fluid versus the ATF. The PS was making some slight whining noises when turning; in the short drive across the lot here when done, it was quiet! Ill have to give it a few days to be sure.

Did you replace the rear door filler like Medtro indicated on the previous page?

I have the rear bumper and rear metal bumper guard, no bolts, the bolts are at the spa I think. If you have an interest just they're yours, no charge of course, PM me.

How was your hunt? See anything?
 
We've seen elk every day, just haven't been ready or they winded me before I could get a shot. Got 1.5 days left so hopefully I can fill my tag.
