Got the RTT installed thanks to @Cruddz and @Garrissey
Can't wait to test it out at Smiley Rock this weekend! Very sad about losing garage parking capabilities though....

On the 2006:
1. Installed a Safari snorkel (thank you for the help @Saddletramp). @Saddletramp was incredible about molding the snorkel to fit around the antennae. Always nerve-racking to drill at 4 1/2" hole in the side of your truck.
2. Installed @sleeoffroad 2nd battery tray and ARB twin compressor.
3. Replaced 2865 springs with 2863 springs (thank you for the help @medtro and @Saddletramp). Got about 1 3/4" more lift in the back.

All-in-all, we spent 10 hours working in the garage on Saturday.

Okay there may have been some other [unintended] adventure that took place, but it didn't involve testing the tent....

I have only seen two Land Cruiser ever lose a bead and they were both 100 series:hmm:

More detail needed

I was not paying attention while taken pictures. Only 3 pictures I took.

Oh really. :popcorn::popcorn:

Tell us more

@Chrismanjs can you please explain why all you pictures have @Abigail in a bent over position?

Don't hate on the 100, I've seen a 60 come off the bead (hmm coincidentally it was also around the same area....maybe should stay away from there). Anyway, mostly just bad luck due to where it happened, maybe avoidable if smaller rims or more psi (was at 15). Would've been nice if the 80 in the group had a winch that actually worked...

Luckily the worst outcome of the day was probably my extreme sunburn. :cautious:

What kind of winch did the 80 have?

Awesome tent, with losing the garage over.

Added a bubble level to make the RTT camping easier. It's not glued down, I just plop it there when I need it.

Added a sunglass holder to the rear view mirror:

Replaced my newly powder coated hitch (thanks @Pitch). Totally missed the bent ear before dropping it off :bang:

The old hitch is up for grabs if anyone wants it free of charge.

Put my LCP tire mount back in with a new beige cover. The cover is there to keep the tire mess off of jackets, packs, sleeping bags, etc. I also added a soft strap and a chunk of L-Track to the base to help tie down my cargo boxes.

Modified my cheapie Chinese 5W LED floods and spots for use on my truck-wide L-Track. Mounted a chunk of L-Track on my attic rack to stow the lights (I've cleaned up the wiring storage a bit since that pic, the cords stow on top secured by a single clip). The spots are adjustable from nearly straight down to 90* out, the spots are mounted on Ram mounts to allow full articulation. These can be used for ditch lights, backup lights, work lights, camp lights, etc. I've put together a 2' mount that goes up vertically at a 45* angle to provide overhead light at camp so I don't have to stare into the lights on the truck (not pictured). Also stuck an old Optima Yellow battery in a NOCO box and connected to my solar setup for the camp lights, it has a status charge plug / indicator light to monitor it's charge state.
