If the leak is not from the axle/hub it is probably when you slid the axle back into housing you knocked the axle seal. Also check that the breather is not blocked.
Thanks i put new breathers on the axle over the weekend. It did seem to be worse by a long way when i was towing a heavy trailer. Hasn't leaked since

Purchased a set of the Polk Audio DB402.
They are waterproof and resistant to harsh outdoor conditions.
Reports are they have good quality sound and will fit inside the dashboard location.

@Gaup,

Love the look of your wheels and tires. What size is the rubber? Any lift on the suspension?

Thanks
Jason

What type welder you using? MIG?

Figured out what that weird control unit in my glove box was when I found the label that had fallen off the front. Got my cool down timer working that I never knew I had!

G'Day Fella's,

Good to see FJ157.
Mate, just take it slow and steady and stop and have a think of possibilities, between tasks.
That way you will end up with an end result, that you can be proud of.

LOL! Flynn, it's nice when you have an unexpected surprise and discovery.

Regards
Homer

PB blastered and loosened a few fittings....Preparing to remove the PTO winch in favor of an electric winch - for me (tree work & frequently working alone) it just makes sense....24 volt 9000 Lb Come Up brand winch with synth line going to be going in.....Thanks Jason!

Do you have the PN for the cover? If you don’t it’s 36124-60020 for the cover and 36144-60020 for the gasket.

Hadn’t gotten there yet....Thank you for the intel!

Same one I have Rob. You are going to love the 24V winch. I have used mine extensively and it rocks. You will need to clock it differently than the way it comes though for it to fit into an ARB (I think that's what you have).

Yeah Onur, Yup Arb on my truck - I clocked the clutch side but am wondering if I should bother clocking the motor side? Where did you mount the control box. I need to call you for some related and unrelated intel/parts....
