and it begins. I have had this idea in my head from day one of purchasing this trailer. Going to put a RTT on it. More details to come...

A friend of mine has the trailer with the rtt, it really is convenient. He stores his coolers and all cooking stuff in it, keeps his sequoia less cluttered. He added an awning to it too. My only criticism of it is its top heavy for its narrow wheel base and was a bit sketchy taking to the upper tract of rapidan wma. Wider wheel base and more articulation on suspension is an upgrade He is looking into. The trailer you have looks wider in the pictures than his

That thing was set up sweet before. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for this next one!

If you do plan out the night you work on this post it up I would be interested in watching you weld it up. Also planning to do a rear swing out and would like to talk about it with you after your recent experience. Already have the swing out part just have to weld the spindle to the bumper and figure out the latching system.

I didn’t see this until Sunday morning and had pretty much finished the welding by then. Whenever I had a free 5 minutes I would run out to the garage and throw a couple welds on it to ensure I didn’t over heat and warp it. This is a pic of the link pretty much done minus some paint.

Weather is looking decent on Saturday so plan to install them then and reinforce the frame side lower link mount. Whoever wants to come shoot the crap are more than welcome but I do live 20mins past Mechanicsville Lowe’s.

All good nice work with it! Busy with autumns bday Saturday but hoping to have some free weekends in the next couple months to get together and work on stuff.

Time for the sun blocker to come back out!

I think my kickdown cable needs to be adjusted, but I’m too young to understand what any of that actually is 😆

I’ll take a look on the next tech day

I would add at least one diagonal crossbrace between the posts on each side. Not that it will but those could just fold over if you hit a big enough bump

Way a head of you big guy;)

That material looks eerily familiar. 🤣
I knew of all people you would appreciate it. Seeing that I had a bunch of it laying around from many years and all the parts and pieces etc why not. I also built my home gym out of it. Pull up bar, bench rack, and dumbbell rack all from this precious material.
