Honestly I'd just like a whole JDM tuck, low miles, diesel with an auto. in addition to the above mentioned options.

This, but with left hand drive.

I'm starting to think this thread isn't going anywhere.

h151 + flywheel for 1fz + bell housing + clutch pedal and master.
Don't have the funds now but am curious and i'm sure some one would buy it if i could n't pull the funds together.

5 sod conversion parts for the 1 hdt (bellhouseing flywheel ,h151, or h55 ) extreme v/b for the auto, big brake upgrades, enlarged intake manifold. and the retractable mirrows , part time t/c kit(no junk hubs ) crawl gears for the t/c ,would be all you'd need to supply for the canadian market and soon to be in the USA soon. You can pm me if you have any of these at a decent price. OH AND EVERYBODY'S WANTS A LEFT HAND DRIVE. STEERING WHEEL.

Don't forget about the hood emblem!

Not found on JDM vehicles. Middle east and Aus export vehicles only.

Ok, how would someone import South American 80's?

All you guys wanting rear A/C.... Why? Just for cool points?
My front A/C will freeze the truck out by itself.

If you're in the US, with difficulty, I believe vehicles brought into the country unrestricted need to be 25 years old or older.

In Canada it's 15 years old or older, which would make it fairly easy to import LHD market 80 series diesels. Trouble is finding one that is still in good shape. Most folks in South America tend to use their Cruisers for what they were designed for, it's hard to find a clean low mileage example. Just looking at the listings in Panama seems to show that most 80 series Cruiser have roughly 400,000+ km on the clock. Even for a Toyota diesel that's getting to the point where engine wear is a concern.

There are a few sharp looking low mileage LHD diesel Cruisers showing up in my area now, near Vancouver B.C., most likely imported from Europe, but they are going for absurd prices. Prices so high that you can buy gasoline for many years before you'd ever break even driving the imported diesel.

When it's 110+ out, the front is ice cold but the kids are boiling in the third row for the first 30 min. of a trip. If the trip is only 30 min. then it never cools off. It's a big space with big windows and it gets stupid hot here.

Sit in the third row when it's 108 and your cruiser is any color except white...

Really it's because I want my older dogs to ride in cool, air-conditioned comfort.

Power folding mirrors hasn't been mentioned yet
