What are the most wanted JDM features you guys looking for?

I'd pay some money for a set, especially if they are home made. I support local business ;) Ill buy her first set and then she can get all the free publicity she wants from me.

Sis is way busy preparing to marry and move across the country, to the point that i would be on my own for my own curtains.

When i get to that bridge, I'll start a thread and post up details.

I am thinking that what i want is like my parents had in their VW Campmobile - elastic cord top and bottom. At least for the cargo area. For door areas something like you see in the JDM photos - cord at the top and strap through the middle - makes more sense.

This kind of thing is Way Easy. Measure height and length of the area you wish to cover. Multiply length by 2.5 or 3. Add a few inches top and bottom for the seams and the channel the cord or rod runs through, or use tape for the channel. I forget the divisor for elastic cord. Sourcing a high quality cord is probably important, as is fabric that can stand a lot of direct sunlight.

It's all straight stitch, no funny business. Nobody will notice if the seams are imperfect, either. Actually, front door curtains could get tricky. Or you could just have a hanging curtain that attaches basically at the grab handles and dangles low enough to keep you private.

For those of you coveting the tire carrier, do remember that there is some significant reinforcement built into the quarter panels on vehicles so equipped. Those reinforcements are not present unless the vehicle was equipped with a carrier when it was built. Reinforcing the quarter panel is extremely difficult.

And we saw it live......

Also, most of those equipped that way that I have seen in Asia have a small jack that supports the tire from the bottom. It is actually just a coarse threaded bolt, but it looks like a jack.

I don't see anything like that on my swing-out.

It's incredibly solid considering it's just mounted to the body.

Most of these land cruisers see alot of off pavement driving and I suspect these "jacks" are added on later. They work well, those rear tires do not jiggle much.

REAR A/C.

And yes, I meant those CAPS.

Rear AC

Has anyone mentioned rear AC?

;p

Interested in rear AC .... XD

I'd like a JDM flux capacitor.

I want to see the look on the state emissions guys face when he opens the hood and sees that bad boy.
