I am a bit frustrated as I just cannot seem to pick a good spot for the iphone 6 to stay in. I tried ashtray, but when I shift to Park it hammers the phone. And it will fall out on some turns occasionally. The drink holder areas is OK but not when I have drinks! The cooling box is no good as it's a PIA to retrieve it. Anyone have any good ideas. I may just do the whole magnetic route again, but am a bit undecided.

My 200 came with the Nite Ize Steelie on the center console, so I added the mount for my iPhone 7 and really like the combo. Very secure and adjustable and it's easy to sync up when I get in. Never had a mount for a cell phone in the past, but I'm really digging this one.

It's only about 1/2 the airflow of one of the 4 front vents, and only when mounted. Can also use suction mount for the right side of the windshield.

I've been using a Proclip console mount with RAM 1" components tied to an iOauto magnetic mount for my iPhone 7+.

Looks like this from the driver's seat:

Does not intrude into the passenger's area, does not interfere with the cup holders, and leaves full access to the console controls. I like it a lot.

I use a Belkin air vent clip. The other vents do their job and heat the vehicle to where I need - haven't missed the functionality of the driver side-center dash vent.

I've been very happy with this setup. I wanted something fairly close to my driving line of sight without being up on the dash in the heat. I also didn't want anything over towards the passenger area. This location makes map reading and Torque reading very easy.

I set mine under the ebrake and it honestly never moves. Can't see the screen really but with Bluetooth who cares?

I use a magnetic mount that clips to my vent. That way I can see Google Maps up near eye level while driving.

The magnet mounts that clip into the vent were bad for me. I found a grippy sticky pad that I place over the subwoofer that has worked well for me. Only issue is I have to stretch a bit in order to grab the phone. It is available on Amazon for $5.
