Robert, I've always liked your rig but thought it would look better with gray wheels, just my opinion.

I can't make up my mind to get some black steel rock crawlers, or have my stock steel wheels powder coated black. And those 10" stock steelies are BAD**S ,never seen them before. What did they come on ???

Robert..when I finish my 1970 RHD that have the same color (OEM) it will be like yours..even with the rims color..thats its just personality out of the Garage

Nuther vote for old school:cheers:

I was always a big fan of the white, wagon wheels but I love the OEM steelie look

Old wagon wheels on it when I was still working on it

Who says you can't have 33"'s on the old school rims?

These are BFG 33x9.5x15 AT's that I got this past spring.

Love the thread guys and I most certainly agree on the stock steelie look. Problem for me with my HJ47 is I can't find a set or an original looking skinny tire with the heavy lug on the sidewall? any help. I've scoured the threads but no luck in finding a source.

One of the best threads ever! Bumpin' it! Keep the pics of the old school steelies coming! I like caps, but they look good without caps, too!

:D

This thread made me toss the spokers for the steelies. Glad I did.

Love the look of stock Steelies... Will the rear caps fit over a FF 45 hub?

I've got white spokes... But one day I'd like to pick up a set of stockers.:D
