Ditched the riveted steelies for new Toyota welded rims for the disc conversion.

I'll keep them black for awhile.

Hi Albush1,

I'm right down the road from you in MHC. Will PM at some point to touch base. I've had limited luck sourcing rims, although someone had mentioned Stockton and I've have some samples of the reproductions they make. Very nice but pricey. $230 per w/ shipping. That is fully powder coated. Very nice but.... I also haven't scoured the web looking either but we can be in touch and maybe get a break on a group purchase? dunno but willing to try.

Thanks,
Chris

OEM steel wheels are still available from Toyota for around $100 each. This fact is well documented in several threads here on Mud. Search is your friend. ;)

Toyota part #'s:
42601-60072 Steel Wheel
42621-60010 Front hub cap
42621-60020 Rear hub cap

I know its a 60 but I'm super pumped about my 16" non-usa splits with 7.50R16 tires. At some point I'm going to have get some new tires. I'm thinking of keeping with the size but always am in for suggestions about new tires of this size.
What do people think?

Just got off the phone with Toyota dealer about purchasing some steelies. He states he has (3) different sizes, 5.5x15 k, 5.5x15 JJ, 5.5x16 F. I don't know what those letters mean nor did he. I gave him the part #42601-60072. Is that the part number for welded rims or riveted? He quoted price of $126.73.
