I lean more towards the old school look as well. That is why I am having such difficulty choosing between a 2.5" and a 4" lift. I don't want to get short changed on the trail by going with a 2.5" lift.
I love the look of your Cruiser. Keep it that way.

bucfan and dusty66, those are nice looking 40's.

Love the look of the stock wheels and caps.

Putting the rear wheel opening back to stock for bucfan would be even nicer, but its a lot of work.

I also like the look of a widened stock wheel with stock hubcap for a modified rig.

front is BTB kit SR= 1"+ 2.5 Rancho Springs = 3.5

The rear is Rancho 4"

Going to the stock rims seemed odd to me at first because it seems like with every "cool" ride you change the rims and tires before anything else.....

In the case of these rides, the "cool" is certainly the old school stock rims.....or it seems to be....

Glad I changed...
