Code will go live at midnight central tomorrow night (thurs) and will not have an end date! We spoke at length about establishing a long-term relationship between mudders and the reseller/distributor/weBoost (who are all working together to help us). I will post details by the end of the day. Thanks for the interest everyone!

Also, they were nice enough to send me a weBoost Reach to review for you guys!! I haven’t even helped them sell anything!

I will do a very thorough review as I am equipped to test this in a way where everyone can see for themselves if it works. I will be running a lot of live tests this month to test the capabilities and limits of the Reach.

Thank you everyone for all the interest, and thank you to the reseller as well as distributor who have been working with me on this. Also, thank you to the nice ladies at weBoost for answering a ton of questions I had! Really appreciate all the help.

what kind of discount we’re you able to get us?

what kind of discount we’re you able to get us?
We got a permanent 20% off discount at alltechsource.com, which applies to everything on the site including weBoost and WilsonPro products. The coupon will be live at midnight central time tomorrow, and code is “MUDweBoost”. They have some other things on the site you may be interested in, like RFID modules to help track your car in case it gets stolen. If you guys see something cool on there then please feel free to share, as discount will apply to that as well.

This is as close as we could get to dealer pricing (which I did look at) and still leave some room for the reseller and distributor to both make a living; keep in mind the weBoost products are not marked up very high (low profit margins), and you will not find a cheaper price anywhere for these; Only distributors can get better price and they cannot sell to end users. We are lucky in that we found both a modest distributor as well as a modest reseller, who are both willing to keep their markups modest in order to make it work with us. We are basically getting it at reseller prices.

Again, code will be “MUDweBoost” at alltechsource.com, and will go live at midnight tomorrow. It will not have an expiration date, and I will be getting a unit to review for you guys here shortly. The model I am getting is the Drive Reach. There is a drive reach fleet model too that is 30 bucks more.

The coupon is live now...
Nice!

FYI the 20% off via code "MUDWEBOOST" does apply to the lower of the 2 prices on their site. I did cross reference a few with amazon to confirm that it is 20% lower than amazon.

Also, all orders $100 or more will receive free shipping (oversized items exempt) and only residents of Texas will have to pay sales tax. For everyone outside of texas, the price you see is the "Shipped to your Door" price.

Ordered. Thanks, SharpeCat!
Much appreciated bud!

Everyone who is on the fence, remember this is a permanent discount! Take your time please, as i do not want to mislead or pressure anyone into buying something unless they know it is right for them. If you are on the fence, just stay tuned, and we will tell you all about it/review and test thoroughly to help you decide. My point is, it is okay to take your time and we will be here if ever you decide to move forward. Thanks again everyone!

Are you trying the Drive Boost (red version) with the OTR antenna?

I am trying the Drive Boost (red one). I got it since (in more normal times) I take work calls from the road, and it opens up more options for remote work, especially in out of the way places. One step closer to being able to do some longer overlanding trips in remote areas.

I asked them for the best balance between mobile (for a car) and signal gain/strength and this was what they (reseller) recommended. I will confirm which model once it gets here. From what i understand, the OTR models are the same except for having a longer antenna (so that it clears the roof on big trucks while being mounted on the hood).

I think this is the one they are sending me, the Drive Reach with normal antenna:

The fleet version install turned me off with drilling a hole in the roof (at least in the install videos). But maybe that was a different fleet model?
From what i read, i believe they come with multiple mounting options (3?). If you have aftermarket roof rack, it may work with no drilling.

2 mins, 38 seconds into the video:

This is the one I just ordered. Worst case scenario, I buy the other antenna that @SharpeCat refers to for about $30. The antenna on the OTR is confired through a friend to work better than the other 2 options. He was swapping them out at random on a few trips that I was on. If you have a roof rack the antenna mounts up really easily. You can use a Rhino Rack Folding bracket to allow it to drop down for entry into garages and parking garages. This is the setup in the link below. WeBoost Drive Reach OTR Long Term Review

For clarification to all, there are 4 antennas available. The kit you choose comes with 1 of the 4. The larger the antenna, the better it works. You can always start with the included antenna of your choice and then buy another to swap in later.

There is the slender short magnetic antenna that SharpeCat has in the kit above
There is the antenna that I refer to as the shark fin antenna
There is the stubby antenna that you can permanent mount (or install on magnetic mount I believe)
There is the OTR antenna that I got.

Thank you for the insight, i was thinking that the higher antenna would work better but i wasn't sure. I will likely end up with both, so that i can stick the smaller antenna to take with me in my livestream bookbag setup, and keep the longer perma-mounted on the car.

@CharlieS make sure you are getting the right antenna for you, and if needed you can call them to switch before they ship it out. I have had no issues getting them on the phone. They will ship fast so call asap if you want to switch to OTR antenna/fleet model for a little more! Mine is already on the way after them telling me they would ship it yesterday.

@gungriffin much appreciated brother. The insight you have is gold here.
