does anyone have a good source for Delphi Packard Weatherpack connectors?

www.waytekwire.com has them but they only sell in lot's of $5 or 100 pieces, whichever comes first.

so you need male plug $5, female plug $5, male terminals $5 female terminals $5, seals $5, and plugs for empty slots $5...... that's $30 for the 2 taillight plugs I need

I found This Guy on Ebay, but I'm leary of buying from him as I don't know him.

Anyone have any ideas?

if not, I'll probably just shell out the moolah to Waytek

thanks everyone!!!!

the last 2 links are great. does DELCITY have minimum # purchases like Waytek?

May want to check your local auto parts store if you've got a decent one. My local NAPA can order them, and Bumper2Bumper had some on the shelves and can order some also.

Yes, but their minimums are lower. In some cases their prices are better too. DelCity and WayTek are electrical toy stores. How many do you need? I have extras left over from my project. Hit me off line.

Hey guys, not too familiar with installing this type of connector. I have seen some crimping tools for $100+. Is this type of tool required to install this type of connector?

Thanks,

zglad

You can do it with a pair of needle nose... just takes practice. If you want the 12 ga - 20 ga crimping tool that sounds about right. You can get one size crimping tool for 18ga IIRC for 30.00

Cheers
