They must be going backwards to get off the track, I had them at RM535 IRC at around 9AM. At that time they were going slow 4-6 MPH for a while then 0 MPH and back 4-6. Data from IRC.
Yeah, you're right. They must have stopped shortly after reporting that position.

I have spoken to Kevin several times today and will leave the details for him to tell but everyone is, or will be fine. :)

The 876........ well, we'll let Kevin tell the story. It's only fair, it's his story.

Right on. Thanks John. Great to hear everyone will be okay.

Looking forward to hearing what Kevin has to say.

Congratulations to Kevin and his team-mates for striving to acheive the near impossible. Glad to hear all are well or soon to be. Our prayers were with you thru this ordeal.
We can't wait to hear the story!

.....and see the pictures.

Reading that he rolled and all the other insight just gave me chills and a bit of a flash back to pismo although being in Mexico with no other cruiserheads/recovery right there plus the distance of the roll (if 1,000 is right) must have been something totally different. As everyone one has already stated, thank god everyone will be okay. and I look forward to reading typing from the primary resource one everything is in order. -Sam-

I'm very glad that things seem to have worked out and most importantly, that everyone will be OK.
You guys have the did what many dream to do. I have deep respect and admiration for those who turn their dreams into reality.
Congratulations

Alvaro

Just got back and trying to catch up on Kman. So bummed when I heard about the roll but am so glad to hear all are ok and the initial reports were exagerated. Really sucks because Kevin, Brett and the gang put an enormous amount of time into their race effort and had a very solid program.

Kevin, hope the damage is minimal buddy and let me know what I can do to help. :frown:

As for us thankfully much less exciting. We had the drivers rear caliper and rotor disintigrate at about race mile 5  and lost all rear brakes. Our first chance to fix it came at race mile 75 with the first fuel dump. I got it closed off but we could not get all of the air out of the system and had to rely on the front brakes from there. We lost a cv joint at about race mile 250 but swapped it out quickly and got going again. We were doing good and holding a respectable pace until the motor had a catasrophic failure in the bottom end at around race mile 535. Will have to see exactly what happened when we do the tear down.
