Here's my issue(s).

My '75 FJ40 has the original coarse spline front axles, with a Manafre bolt-on disc brake setup and aftermarket Smittybilt hubs. (via P.O.)

I have a trunnion bearing problem and will rebuild both knuckles using Kurt's rebuild kit and Marlin axles seals.

That said, the Smittybilts look to need a rebuild AND, I have a set of Warn hubs that came off of our '72 FJ40, on which we did a fine spline axle replacement via "73Guppie" Noah's methodology, utilizing Aisin hubs.

I'm not going to switch over to fine spline axles on this '75 FJ40.

So, ... will the Warn's fit from the Mar '72 FJ40 onto the May '75 FJ40?

Which hubs have a rebuild kit out there? Warn, Smittybilt, or both?

Is there a preference, one over the other?

Or, should I find some coarse spline Aisins and go that route?

Thanks for the assist!

Install the Warn lockouts.

Coarse spline OEM lockouts would be cool, but not worth the $$$ cool to me.

The Warn service kits that are out there will work for your lockouts.
