Hey!
First of all, Merry Christmas!
Hope you guys doing well!

Some years ago, a friend of mine gave me a old ‘79 24v Warn Winch of 9000lbs/4100kg.

I want to convert it to 12v, and MAYBE this is a "stupid" idea, but I was thinking to buy a Bow Motor 1 aswell a motor box control (my current motor box, got fkd up, its trash ).

My plans is to restore this winch, gears etc ( it has a good gear ration, almost as the 8274 winch, 156:1 ) apply a Bow Motor 1 & a 8274 winch controller, or some sort of controller.
Test it, and maybe in the future "Over-Volting" it :)

Does it worth it? The winch was free, just need to buy a Bow Motor 1, it's 180 pounds in my area, and a used control box.
Pros and Cons of doing this?
Have someone did this? My winch, I think it's a MIL 9000, but at the same time, aesthetically doesn't seem like ( photo on att files )

Have Fun & Have a good day!
