It says there is 4 there. I’d be stunned if all of these weren’t already sold. But maybe the supply is finally picking up.

The salesperson said they have an ultra luxury available and at least one of the Nori greens. She said the buyer for one of the Nori greens backed out.

Any color (interior/exterior) changes for 24? Or known options changing?

Going to put an order in this week. Torn on the 18 vs 22s on the Luxury appearance package. Most likely getting some aftermarkets with 275/60/20 mildish tires, but I would like to put some aggressives on the 18s as backups (for my excursions). Might be better selling the 22s for more $$ and just running the 20s?

We have time, would be replacing my girlfriends X5 for the 3rd row option and same size vehicle. I would obviously ask to inherit it.

Has anyone retrofitted the lockers? How about Torsen in back and locker up front?

You can't order any Lexus or Toyota, it's more giving a deposit and a preference of "whatever matches this spec the closest" for a dealer to try and match in the allocations Lexus & Toyota gives them.

I don't think anyone has retrofitted anything in regards to lockers yet on the new model. Would you get the F Sport with the Torsen rear diff or a different trim?

I went from a 2022 BMW X5 I loved to the LX600 F Sport because one became available, and it's great. No comparison to the BMW in road drive quality or front seat space, but a tank and great in all other LX ways, that are like no other big SUV in the market.

I put a deposit on a Luxury appearance package with AHC. Fsport is nice but no go on black or red interior this time.

Caviar with the tan interior.

Guess I will take it with 22s if I can’t exactly order.

One thing I will add is that I ordered a 2022 Tundra and it came as exactly as ordered. Took too long and we snagged an F150, its just a company truck but we need a longbed extended cab 1/2 ton for someone at work.

That should end up being produced in an allocation at some point, depending on the color spec you chose. What color combos did you give?

Good combo. Keep an eye on what hits lots, but pretty much 99.9% guaranteed as a Luxury it will only be with the 22's. No one seems to have ever seen the accessory option other wheels ever, unless in the initial press fleet.

Strange system, but no orders, just how it is. Toyota likely had a Tundra that just fit your spec on point & could preference any accessories from the port if needed.

Just took a look and in a shared Lexus allocation doc, there are (34) Caviar LX Luxury's nationwide with Vin's already in transit or at dealer. Not sure of the interiors, but might be worth looking around at any of these. Usually LX's are pre-reserved, but you never know.

What area or state are you in?

I am in Houston.

Strangely the Tundra came as a Double Cab long bed SR with tow package in Magnetic color. Exactly what I ordered. Extremely not a common combo.
I do know the sales manager though. He has me down for the rumored landcruiser too but I am leaning LX600, says I am #3 on the list.

I actually do want to see about retrofitting the lockers as well. Will need to do some reading.

Willing to bet the whole diff chunk has to swap, which may actually be quicker and less problematic.

I don't understand deposits on vehicles of any type other than ultra expensive sports vehicles with very limited production runs. Toyota and Lexus will make as many as they can sell. Why commit to paying full fare when at some point you will be able to walk into a dealership and buy the exact one you want and negotiate on price. More concerning to me would be getting the first of anything like the GX or new Land Cruiser or the LX of a two years ago.

Maybe it is bragging rights?

Pragmatism. I wanted an LX600, wait list was 40+ people when I signed on. 9 months later, I was at 21. A few months later at 6, then finally had a shot to purchase a base model rejected by 1-5 due to no cooled seats or 3rd row.

No bragging rights, just took a while to get it, and I don't think it will be changing much. Still a 20+ wait list at my local dealer.

Lindsay Lexus
I'm on the management team. Manage all deposits and match allocated cars to deposits across all models. The LX list is not that long but I have 87 deposits for the new GX and will probably be north of 200 when the first GX arrives.
