Ill have to swing by the shop soon. You've done a lot to the truck since I saw it last.

That's a sweet setup. I've always wanted a set of Volks for my Supra... never considered a set for the LC until seeing your rig. =]

Nice!

0 offset = better scratch protection :)

Volk makes both...are these cast or forged?
These are forged

Yea, Slee kit and the wheels! Come by!!

You only live once, do it!

Last question...out of curiosity :): Did you know what one of your new wheel weighs?

That looks friggen great!

I'd guess those wheels are around 15/16 lbs.

^ that would be ~10lbs lighter than the 16" OEM 100 wheels which are also forged (IIRC...26lbs on my bathroom scale). If I had to guess I'd say the difference would be less.

Hey nice wheels! where did you order them from? and according to rays website the bolt pattern for this wheel TE37x is 139, I believe ours are 150?!

You are correct. The 100 Series rims (1998-2007) are 5X150. The only variation in the rims is the size (16",17",18"). I am not sure of the off set though.

Aren't these the wheels the Paris Dakar 100/200s run? They are sweet.

First off - that looks really nice!

I had a set of 0 offset wheels from XD but they rubbed the front fender on heavy compression like running over railroad tracks at high speed. Will yours stuff into the front fenders without rubbing?

love em man!! makes my weds adventure series go to shame!!

Anyone knows where can I get the same wheels? I have been searching the whole internet recently but cant find 5x150 16x8 volk TE37 x large!

You should call a dealer. At one time, there were 2-3 different TE37X choices in the 5x150 16" wheel. Now, I only see them in 18" wheel size.

I called the dealer in my city today they said they dont have 5x150 :/ but he mentioned that they used to make them before years but they stopped.

There is a company called Rota that makes cheaper clones of Volks, a lot of sports car guys use them. And in general people seem to like them.

They have a wheel that looks very similar (actually looks exactly alike) but it is a 6 bolt pattern. I emailed to see if they can offer it in the 5x150 bolt pattern, but I didn't give him the width or offset yet, just trying to see if they will even entertain custom orders at this time. Order of magnitude basis a set of four Rotas should cost about $650-$750 total, so it would be less painful on the wallet. (Need to research quality/strength issues.)

What do you guys think the ideal width and offset for a wheel would be if we could get them to make what we want?

My thought is that 16inch gives the best combination of more sidewall for better off road, and more selection in available offroad tire sizes (and at better prices).

I would think that ideally it would be wider than 8inches if you are going to go with a tire that is any wider than 295. Otherwise wouldn't it give the tire a budging burrito effect and make the enter of the tread wear too soon unless you substantially under-inflate?

As for offset, I think adjusting the offset just a tad from zero would be good based on the photos in this thread. It looks like it could stand to come inboard a bit (assuming that does not cause problems with the UCA's rubbing?).
