This weekend's work.

A set of ASCO (AiSin COmpany) SFA Toyota Manual hubs that came in this weekend from Georgia.

A set of Aisin SFA Toyota Manual Hubs that came in this week from Alabama. One hub looked like the wheel bearing got hot an galled the hub body and ring. Check out the pics.
Notice the hub body galling and increased ID of the hub body.

Figured the hub ring was trashed but I got the hub body out anyway and this was what I found

This is what a new hub ring looks like on the inside

The old hub body cut out/up compared to a good hub body.

Since the old hub ring is trashed the customer opted to go with a complete new Aisin hub.

Another set of Aisin SFA Toyota Manual Hubs that the customer requested to change to IFS dials.
Cleaned up and ready for grease and reassembly while the dials/plates get powder.

Yes, these are the same Aisin manual hubs shown in all 5 pics. These hubs are completely refurbished. It is a huge transformation from start to finish.

Long body Asco from a 76-78 FJ55. Do I win a free refurbish of mine? Ha

Damn those look good.

That's always a good part of when I do a knuckle rebuild is how nice everything looks when it's all clean and put back together. I'll have to get my hub cover plates and knobs powdercoated the original FJ60 hub colors when I do it this time.
