has any one thought of using one of these in the back back? found one on the web while looking to upgrade the front seats.

ford Taurus wagons had them also. My wife had one and it looked possible to cut the floor out and retrofit it in the floor of a 60.. you would loose your spare tire.

Couldn't sink it into the rear floor easily, as there is a fuel tank right underneath there.
It could be bolted to the floor, so it could fold down flat when unneeded, then folded upright for use.
Nicest feature of those seats is the 3pt seatbelts. not sure how that would integrate w/ the Cruiser body.

the xc90 has a funky stadium seat like 3rd row
You would need/want some that have the seatbelts built in... Newer F150 seats come to mind... too big though..

i found some about a week ago on ebay from a nissan ex-cab pu that would have been cool side jump seat set up. couldn't tell about the mounting though. im gunna hafta go that a junk yard and do some research. ill keep the mud brain filled in
