I can get you most of that information. Just be a bit patient with me so I can dig up some photos for you of how they should look.

i always stamped mine with the letter and number stamps you smack with a hammer ,dont know if its legal but i only did when the fenders were changed or the old ones rotted out and fell off. legal or not getting a plate legally can make a person pull thier hair out

Ok. I just picked up a batch of these plates this morning. I know a lot of you guys have been waiting a long time for them. I am shipping some out this afternoon to the guys that have paid and have been waiting. If you want one please let me know and we can get one out. I only had them run me 5 of each plate because i couldnt front the cost for much more than that right now.

I did not see this plate in your offerings - do you have it available? Thanks!

No, I have not made that plate before. How bad do you want it? I would have to go through a fair amount of work to get it digitized so it could be etched. It is not a common plate for a land cruiser. What is the story?

It is the plate that came off the 75 that I recently purchased. The fenders weren't included in the sale as they were pretty beat up apparently so the PO took the plate off and included it in the boxes of parts. Clearly it suffered some corrosion. I plan on doing a fairly nice restoration on this but I suppose I could use the more common 2F one you already have available.

For reference, the plate I posted is 4"x2.5". What size is your #4 plate? Seems like it might be smaller. Which isn't a big deal since I'll be working with different fenders and likely will have to drill new holes for it anyhow.

Do you still have these tags? My firewall was spray painted and the fool painted over the vin plate. I tried several methods to remove the paint, however it is removing the factory black off of the tag. Let me know if you have one. It is a 1979 FJ40.

Yes. Do you know which one you need?

Shouldn't be a problem. I will be home in a couple hours. Before you send money let me see what I have on hand. Pretty sure I have both.

Thanks
Mike
