My FJ80 has a vibration that starts at around 30mph when accelerating (or just sustaining speeds at 30mph on up to 75 mph (I don't go much faster than that with this buggy)). If I take my foot off the gas pedal, the vibration stops. The vibration is not present at lower speeds.
The right axle was found to be dry (about a month or so ago) since I had a loud vibration sound at that time. The loud vibration sound was not constant and was intermittient. This loud vibration was addressed by repacking (greasing) the axle.
This current vibration feels different than the dry axle vibration (more subtle since it is not loud and obnoxious.)
Has anyone out there had thsis same (or similar) problem?
One more thing....This is a one owner buggy. I purchased it new in 1996. Thanks!
