Doing some cleaning up around the house and found this stuff hiding in with the rest of our cruiser project. I figure since I don't need any of this anymore, it's time to let it go.
Everything is out of an FJ40 (except the wiper motor. That is Toyota but may be out of a 4runner, I'm not sure) and one of the diffs is out of a '70 series but is the same as a '40 series.
- The axle housing and axles are solid. One side needs new axle seals that it comes with.
- The axle also comes with a complete set of brakes/hardware, and brake drums in good condition.
- The diff needs the preload set on the pinion and you will need a new crush sleeve. The gears themselves are in good shape as are the spiders and housing.
- There are actually two diffs here but one would be just for salvage.
* note. The axle is not covered in grease. That is synthetic Redline Shockproof oil. It just looks like grease because it is blue/green.
- The rear tire mount comes with both hinges but only one hinge pin.
- The hood and windshield latches both work but need cleaning up.
- Optima battery works well. I replaced it with a commercial one I got from work when we did the diesel swap.
- Controller for a warn 8274 winch. Works but the plastic in the plug disintegrated. It comes with the female end(for in the winch) as well.
- Two tires/rims . "P225/75 R15" (You probably just want the rims unless you need a spare.)
- A new idler shaft out of a transfer case I rebuilt.
- A Safari snorkel. In perfect condition, never been used. Took it out of the box once but then changed our intake set up and it won't work anymore.
- Rear cabin heater. It's hiding behind the tires in the picture but it works very well. It just didn't work with how we set everything up.
- More to come.
-pm me. I'm open to offers. Willing to sell everything as a lot.
