Spark plug seals are easy enough to remove - mine were 'cooked' in, but easy enough to break them apart - since they'll no longer be 'rubber' but instead some kind of cooked ceramic :)

My writeup on my website explains how I removed mine and installed the new ones. Simple job.

cheers,
george.

Which is the best product to seal the half moons? I have Permatex Red RTV "high temperature", is there something better?

That should be fine, if you can stand the red color. Black or gray is much more subtle. Of course, you don't need to slobber half a tube on, either, and one can wipe the excess off.

I am on the same page don't like the red color, but it's the one that says "high temperature" that is why I was asking. Gray whould be excellent but which one should I use?

Two tips: 1. Replace the spark plug tube seals if no one has suggested this yet.

2. By a hard copy of the fsm because it's all there.

Thanks for the tips, have both ready. Just trying to find out what is the best RTV to use because I wouldn't like to use the red one.

Getting ready to do the valve cover gasket on my 94. My plan is to replace the valve cover gasket, spark plug gaskets and the items and hoses under the manafold. I need help identifing the items and hose types/sizes under the manafold. I have attached a picture if some one could help the part numbers.

on a 94 you can just take all that out and run one line to the fuel rail as long as you dont have emissions
