My father just bought the SC for his V8 Tundra. I think it's pretty much the same as the LC. Does anyone know of an overview on the web of how the install is done.
It is quite different than the 1FZ job. It also requires changing the thermostat among many other differences.
Our shop has done one. The tech mumbled quite a bit while he was doing it. It is almost identical to the V8 cruiser unit.
He spent close to 10 hours on it. There is also some electricals that can be challenging.
