Great Uwharrie Outing

As has already been said, this year's installment of North meets South was great! The weather was just about perfect for camping, the wheeling was fun and the fellowship was excellent!!

Thanks to Marshall for doing the legwork and reserving the spots (check your PM, I still owe you $) and for organizing / leading the pre-ride session on Saturday.

Thanks to Ken for bringing his high end digs and letting us use it for base camp. I never got the guided tour, I'll be sure to get it next time. Thanks also to Ken for leading the push on the club hats with the hand stitched logo. I bought two and they are both great!

Finally, a big thanks to everyone who came. It's the people that make these events so enjoyable. NC folks, SC folks and the Rover guys (word has it a convert is in the making )...

Although I didn't get many, I'll post a few pics over on the picture thread.

Can't wait to go again!!!

I had a blast this weekend. thanks to all that helped plan, organize and make it happen. I didnt get a single pic this time around except of the early model taco all modded out. I kinda wish i hadnt over booked the weekend but the lake felt awfully good after a day on the trails and all in the name of wedding celebrations. It was great to put some faces to familiar names and meet all you guys, and there were still several i didnt get to say hello to as well. As always, looking foward to the next event!!!
