So is there a time/place we want to meet saturday b4 hittin the trails? outpost at 9 roll out at 10? How bout radios? im still on 4-2 from last time and cullowhee too.

My idea is to have us have the safety meeting at 9 at the campsite. Then we all roll out from there around 9:30-10:00. Most likely we will be split in two groups with a desiginated meeting spot for lunch.

Jason - After everyone coming in on Saturday morning assembles at the Outpost, bring the group over to the Arrowhead sites. We'll all convene and go from there.

That's how Alex and his sister did it the 1st year and it worked well.

We will shoot to leave camp for the trails around 10am.

Also, I'll have a CB and 2 hand helds. I'll leave one of the hand helds on 4-2 and turn it on Saturday morning.

Andy, sounds good. I will meet at the outpost and then roll in to the campsite from there. I hate to sound slack, but 9 is going to be kinda early for me. I can probably make 9:30ish. It takes me about 1 to 1.5 hours to get there and i have company meeting me at my house to ride down with me. So, if they are late or if there is traffic ect... i'll be pushing 9. Either way, i will have my radio on channel 4-2 if we get separated.

We won't leave camp until 10 at the earliest and if you're not there yet, we'll figure something out. As you know, the Outpost to Arrowhead in no more than 10 minutes.

Keep your cell on too (not that it will do any good) but we'll make sure everyone meets up.

cool. I just don't want to get up at 6 or 7 on a saturday morning to go wheelin'. Not my cup of tea. But heck, no matter what i will have my radio on and we will eventually meet up if not at the camp site.

ONSC will have a small group at the Outpost around 9:30, Lord willing...

Cool. I am leaving shortly. We will meet up with your caravan in the morning. Head to the campground after the Outpost stop.

Andy, you better be bringing your built 80!!! I have seen it sitting in the parking lot at Lance's shop a while ago, but that was it. I want to see it crawling up Kodak Rock!

Just a question for someone out there.

Is anyone still going to be around on Sunday morning from the looks of it ?

Got to work today and am going up early sunday morning. Will be there around 10, and looking for some coffee. Am not bringing cruiser just my bike.

Have fun all and be safe.

Those pics are awesome!

Those are some good pics. I appreciate all of you allowing myself and friends to join your event and wheel with you. We had a great time and look forward to another chance to do this again.

Chuck

Had a great time everyone. We had a good group this weekend. Around 15 cruisers who went on the trail. Camping was fun, weather was cool, trails were in good shape, and I had some great comebacks on the Cuban.

Alex and I made it back with no problems. Ken thank you for bringing the super tanker was a great asset. Andy thanks for the food. Juan your dogs provided hrs of entertainment. ONSC showed up in force, it was a treat wheeling with them. FJCs rocked as usual.

Good Time at Uharrie

Kudos to Marshall and Andy for putting together a class event.
It was great to hang with the Old North State gang. Good clean fun with a group of folks who are Special Stewards of the land. And what a neat place you have in Uharrie.
You all are to be commended:
Andy and Kim
Juan and Maria,
Merle and Diane
Tina in a slick FJC from GVL, NC(have fun at MOAB)
Chris Small (and Dad) in another Slick FJC from GVL, NC
Chuck and friends from the Land Rover Group
Andy, Joe, George, and all the other folks from the Tar Heel State whose names escape me
Thanks everyone
KM

Great pics! It was good meeting everybody and seeing some good wheelin' I just wish I had my 40 up and running so I could have joined in on the action, but a big thanks to Alex (concrete jungle) for letting me tag along with him.

Thanks guys. I had an absolute blast. Chris and myself went back out after you guys left today. I've gotta load of pics. Can't post them yet cause I'm NEW.
