Here is mine, just did some replanting and "overhauled" the soil (Bone meal works wonders!)

Green beans, cucumber, green chilis, jalapenos, basil, tomatos, green beans, and a grape vine that is (against all odds and attemps at sabotage) doing great.

Here's one for you. Our 8 year old (and very watered) agave has decided to go for the century plant look. Actually not a cactus but part of the asparagus family which the stalk definitely looks like. Evidently all the energy goes into the stalk and the byproduct which in turn kills the main plant. This has reached some amazing heights and can be seen from the street in front of the house. At first it grew by inches on a daily basis. This is over about 9 weeks. First pic is where it is now. Pretty cool to watch the evolution of it.

We had one in our front yard. It was crazy how fast it grew and how tall it got. Hated to lose the main plant though.

Had one just like it in the back yard that had to come out when we put the pool in. It had grown over the height of our 2 story house, which was no small feat (~30ft tall). The real problem became disposing of it after the pool company ripped it out of the ground and rolled it onto my side yard.

I grabbed my Granfors Bruk small forest axe and went to work, but being summer, I was wearing shorts. Soon after hacking off the lower leaf/spines, my legs, shins, and thighs started to burn horribly. I jumped in the pool, and that didn't touch the burning pain. After getting inside and taking some benadryl, the burning sensation subsided.

Turns out the agave family (*used to make tequila) is known for having caustic acid for blood, and didn't appreciate me chopping it up. As that sap splattered me, I ended up with mild chemical burns on my lower legs that healed within a few days, but I'll never forget that burning...

The other problem was the sheer weight. Even missing all of its arms and legs, the 'trunk' of that thing weighed over 300lbs. I had to use the winch on the front of the LandCruiser to drag it the rest of the way to the street for bulk trash pickup. This remains the one and only time I've used my winch in 5yrs of ownership!
