Most folks that have done it have claimed improved stability and you’ll gain a bit of suspension travel. You’ll also have slightly improved suspension angles at the same amount of lift due to the longer arms.

This thread has the most comprehensive info on this modification:

My LCA bushings are worn out. Squeaking and clunking. In addition to that, the alignment bolt is seized. Any recommendations are places to source the LCAs cheapest? From what I can tell, it’s best to stay away from aftermarket for the LCAs. That still hold true?

I am going to take the opportunity to add the adjustable SPC UCAs and Westcott spacers. Shocks don’t appear to be leaking so will leave them. Need to refresh the springs at 184k miles? Will do the AHC replacement while there too.

I'm tossing the idea around in my head to modify OEM 200-series arm for 37s. To increase caster and clearance against the BMC/fender wells.

Anyone have used OE LCAs to donate to an experiment? If they are usable, even better.

I am planning on using the new stock LCAs with the SPCs to fit 37s when my 35s wear out. It has been done before with significant trimming on fender wells and BMC from my understanding.

If you want, I am happy to send you these LCAs. Again the alignment bolts are seized and bushings shot, but if you want them, they’re yours.

I've got a pair, great condition, send me a PM and we can coordinate getting them your way. Only issue I had with the 37s with stock arms was hitting the frame and swaybar at full lock, running RW at a spacer. Spacer was needed to clear the UCA with the 12.5s

Good info. If you don’t mind sharing, what size spacer or equivalent offset?

It's all a bit SNAFU now, but originally Spidertrax 1.25" on Rock Warriors (-50mm I think???). Now my RW are beadlocks, so that changed things a bit (adds about 0.5" to wheel width) and I'm on a .75" Bora spacer. Of course now I rub on the front mudflaps after the beadlocks, so I need to get cutting again...

Awesome. I'll reach out on PM.

Thank you kindly. I'll reach out to nwfl4runner for now as it seems his set is in great shape. Best of luck with your upgrade.

I have a used set of lower Tundra arms that a member can have for free.

I’m thinking of replacing mine while I am there and have a mostly new setup. Did you find any? I’ll send them to you for sure if I do.

Can someone remind me what oem cost is for a pair?

Thank you but I got a set from @nwfl4runner . It's sitting in my garage staring at me waiting to be cut into.

I've said this before, but it's always surprising just how substantial these parts are when they're off the car. Giant monument of a part.

I wouldnt touch anything with a uniball, regardless of claims, with a 10ft pole. Squeaks and Maintenace are the norm there...

Others may argue, thats fine...

@TeCKis300 i will also have a set (old and worn) you can have if you'd like to butcher a trashed set before moving on to the ones from @nwfl4runner

60k on my TC Uniball joints and they’re still silent.

Sure, I'll take you up on that! Always good to have a set to practice on before committing.

You really have to wrastle them in and out.

That not fair those are so expensive. <-- yes, that's the jealous undertone haha

Yup. Lots and lots of miles and a good bit of wheeling on my Camburg Uniballs and they are still tight as a tick with no squeaks. I've never even cleaned them. :meh:

My Camburgs fell apart after 10K. Do not recommend.
