I generally think that Larry has pretty good taste, until I see the Bud Light in the fridge door.

17-18 gallons. With all the stuff on that side, I need to increase the spring on that side to get the truck level.Did you figure what your final capacity was in the new setup?
Sounds good. I may not get that far north on this portion of my excursion, but will stop by for sure when I finish up next time. When you get to El Rito stop by. Our house is on the BDR.

Good morning from the nmbdr.
Day 3. On forth section of nmbdr - Elephant Butt to Reserve. Found a previous camp spot that Ash and I camped at when resuming nmbdr in 2019.
Still learning how to fold it up. But overall, love it.How are you liking the iKamper Mini compared to your old tent?
We are enjoying your real world equipment evaluations. Your posts are giving us ideas!Still learning how to fold it up. But overall, love it.
CONS:
Inflating/deflating the mattress
Mattress deflated last night because one valve was not tightly closed.
Front door is a bit narrow to zip and unzip
Can be difficult to close completely if all is not sorted.
PROS:
Gained 1/3 of roof rack
Can store bedding and stuff when packed
Can easily access rear rack from window
Hinged floor w attached ladder is much easier to deploy and pack
Inflatable mattress is very comfortable
Integrated lights are very nice
Ability to open 2nd row passenger door is handy
Stair step accessory is much easier, comfortable and safer.
I've never seen that stair step accessory and thought it was super cool. I once had aspirations for a rooftop tent setup but Danise's balance and stability is not adequate to safely ascend and descend from one. Maybe the stair step accessory would make things safer for her.Still learning how to fold it up. But overall, love it.
