Racer65,
The Nissan Patrol forum 60Patrol.com also is a community of 4WD enthausists who would certainly support and appreciate your efforts developing solutions for their projects. Please consider expanding your production to include the G60/L60.

I’m sorry. He’s taken.

View attachment 1618532 Guessing this solenoid from a 1970 carb is no longer available.
Is there an available replacement?
Martyn, those very rarely die. I've seen a few that were murdered by attempting to disassemble (whyyyy?).
There is no new replacement, but I have several of them in parts carbs if you need one or two.

Yes, the fabric braiding on the wires is often worn, and grommets dissolve over time. But, like so many Cruiser parts, the damn things don't know enough to die.

Oh, I'd also love to see the 1960-1965 windshield frame to roof weatherstrip reproduced! There are a couple NOS ones floating around here somewhere.

OK, for the 10 people that may need it, I have a prototype of the '58 to '65 front roof weatherstrip (63161-60010). Looking for one volunteer to try it.

I have a 64 hard top. Would love to give it a test fit...

So far everything I've purchased from you had been spot on...

Plus I don't have one and was wondering how I was going to solve this issue.

Perfect. Please PM me your ship-to address and I'll send it your way.

Racer, ever kick around the idea of the 74 style door seals?

So I recieved the sample of the windshild frame upper weatherstripping from @Racer65. for my 64 hardtop. Not sure of the orientation, I assume it's the same as the later models. Here's a couple pics of the fit.

Anyone know for sure the correct placement?

The first pic is my guess. Front is to the left in the pic.

It has a split in it as you can see. I'm thinking that is to grab the metal part riveted to the top.

Ill keep having at it... :)

The thin lip should be on the inside, with two notches cut out where the hoops are welded to the windshield frame for the holddown hooks.

I need to check out a few of my early cruisers to see if they have welded loops. They didn't have the hooks or pads on the hood. Not quite sure when Toyota starting making the FJ40 universal so both hard and soft tops could except the other type.:hmm:

My 64 hard top does not have the hold down hook system. The soft tops did tho. I think that may have started in 65?

So If I understand you, it's correct in the second picture.
