Hey Roger, is there any possibility of reproduction 73-87 accelerator pedal boots? Sorry if this has been asked before.

Well, from what I've seen it's not too difficult to find good used ones yet.

Correct.

I bought a nice one on eBay 2 months ago for $16

Well, I was looking at something on my 78 the other day and noticed the boot was cracked. When I checked further, the boot just disintegrated. I bought the truck new and it only has around 80,000 miles on it in mostly mild Washington temperatures, so I can't imagine finding used boots in better condition. I'm thinking there's a lot of rotted boots out there and I've seen a few photos on mud recently where the boots were missing on otherwise nice trucks. Anyway, please keep it in mind.

That's a pretty close aftermarket part. I don't normally search eBay for Australia, so I hadn't seen that. Thanks.

It's a pricey piece of rubber, but I could spend that much for a used part that is as dry-rotted as the original on my truck.

My ‘79 was originall from Washington state to and the throttle firewall boot was disintegrated too. Actually all of the firewall boots are dry rotted.

Summer is coming, is windshield front ventilator rubber gasket a possibility for 58 to 65 windshield frames?
Part # 56143-60010. I know SOR has them, but they last about 10 min before they crack at the hinge point.
Sorry if this a re-request.

Yes, in the works. Still relatively early stage.

How early? I'm looking to buy new weatherstripping for my 74... and if I buy '71 Weatherstripping instead, I'll not be needing any for the next 25 years. 6 months, a year?

Well, I suppose you could buy one from SOR and use as a template and buy some excellent material that will last.

No ETA at this point, but 6 months to a year is the range.

I've been waiting for several years already... sure would like it before next winter. In the summer it doesn't matter. I would even send you my original if it'd help the process along.

I would be on board for the same thing if it's the same for a 65.

Racer-

Any chance you want to reproduce this faceplate from the 58-7/70 ignition switch?

Don't think that is OEM? I looked through all my pics and not one FJ40 I have a pic of has that plate.
