@Racer65 any chance you might be making a reproduction housing seal for 3/76 and older smaller wiper motor cover housing that sits on lower front passenger area windshield frame? I know they are still available for my 10/78 manu date but that is a larger motor cover.

The smaller wiper motor cover comes up for sale pretty regularly at reasonable prices, so the conditions for repro isn't quite there yet.

I think he is asking about the gasket for the smaller cover.

also, should note, any of the new wiper motors you will find for sale are the(late 77+) larger version which takes the larger cover or I think for a short time toyota did make a "dented" cover to use on the larger motor, maybe for late 77 and 78. (we have a sept 76 with small cover)

I have looked all over, even SOR:(, and they don't have new OEM ones. The larger cover gaskets are everywhere; anyone have a new part number??? Maybe Toyota changed or "updated" the part number..................

I see what you are talking about now. You're right that seal is very much a goner. Wondering why that is the case? Based on demand for stuff like air intake hoses and floor mat, one would think '75 to '77 is are pivotal years. I'm thinking the small wiper motors must be very hard to come by these days, so that may be ripe for reproduction.

Guess what Rog? I also need a wiper motor for the '76(3/76 manu date), easy to get them for my '78! I have only seen some pretty rough used wiper motors:(

I agree BTW, I think '75-'78 were probably the most desireable years:beer:;)

Thanks but that link has a note on it "the smaller gasket has been discontinued by Toyota".

Ah yes, my bad. This is great news!!!! Now to find a wiper motor for the '76!
